The pandemic has not only affected the emotional, mental and health status of our community, but financial implications have also been an issue.
During the lockdown, we were privileged to be involved in the community task force to deliver emergency food relief for those in dire need. We registered people, sourced supplies and delivered packages to Melbournians that have been financially set back during these unprecedented times.
We helped people from: North Melbourne, Flemington, Carlton,Dallas, Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park, St Albans, Sunshine, Braybrook, Werribee, Tarneit, Truganina and Hoppers Crossing.
As well as providing food, we also supplied PPE and COVID safety information that had been translated to appropriate languages.
Feedback from people involved were very positive and it was a pleasure to continue to be there to give a helping hand.
