January 25th 2020

This summer Australia was ravaged and continues to be stricken by hazardous bushfires. These wildfires have affected lives, animals and even the air quality of those as far as some areas in New Zealand!

Here at IMAAP, we focus on African-Australian youth in Melbourne, but a strong component of what we do is building a strong sense of community. Our country was hurting so we decided to use our annual Family Fun Day to fundraise for the Victorian bushfire relief  towards CFA, who are playing a major role in the emergency response across the state of Victoria.

IMAAP held their annual 2020 Family Fun Day on the 25th of January at the North Melbourne Community Centre. We’re thankful for the community that joined us and made it a memorable day!

We would also like to thank our wonderful volunteers for working tirelessly and helping the day run so smoothly. We appreciate everything you do for these events to run the way they do.

We successfully raised $800 which we will be donating 100% of the funds to the @cfavic.
