At the end of December, we took a group of boys to Sunnystone Camp. The three days were filled with great opportunities for the boys to meet new people, build friendships’,  as well as learning new survival skills and enjoying the activities set out for them. 

We implemented our leadership program in the camp, so whilst the boys definitely had fun, they were also able to take a lot of beneficial skills away with them. 

Leaving the camp energised for the new year was definitely an aim of ours, so it was greatly appreciated to get great feedback from the young blokes.

We can’t wait to do this again next summer! It was definitely a great way to end the year, and hearing the goals these boys have set out for themselves in the new year has us really excited for our future programs. 

We were grateful to see a troop of kangaroos just as the sun was setting. Some of the boys have never seen a kangaroo out in the open so it was definitely a lovely moment to experience with them.
