Winter Holiday Program – 2018

Winter School Holidays is upon us and we thought, hang on for most of the world winter is associated with snow and fortunately (or unfortunately?) it doesn’t snow in Melbourne, so why not take our adventurous young people to conquer a snowy experience! 

For some of our fellow snow expeditioners this was the first time experiencing the snow and as the above video goes to show, they were not ready – at all. A lesson for us in the future is to pack some more jackets and gloves in case that some of our group forget or don’t bring any, and to be clearer with exactly the kind of gear that is needed for a snow trip. Onwards and upwards as they say – we learn and we implement. 

Despite this setback, our group braved the trip and generated heat by taking advantage of all the activities at Mount Baw Baw and having a good ol’ time!
